During my darkest days of my struggle with Secondary Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) I began the practice of capturing beauty amid the chaos. I used my camera to capture hidden paintings in the world around me, that could be seen for their artistic beauty and grace. The process was comforting to me (bringing chaos into order will ease anyone’s anxieties). The act of taking time to slow down and look closely at the world around me, searching for beautiful compositions, brought me peace. These photographic prints are the result of that meditation, a practice I still continue today.
